Umida Avloni
Founder and the Director of the Avloni Academy of Music in Silicon Valley, Lamorinda Academy of Music and Arts in Lafayette, California, and Co-Founder of the eBibelot, INC, San Jose, CA. She received MM degree with honors from Tashkent State Conservatory, and DMA from Uzbek Institute of Arts (USSR)
Umida served as a judge at numerous international competitions, including the US Open Music Competition, North China International Piano Competition, World Piano Pedagogy Competition, and many others, worked as the Director of the Awards for Excellency Competition of MTAC, and was on the Board of Directors of the Junior Bach Festival and the Pro Arte Symphony, CA. Every year her students win top prizes at international, national, and regional piano competitions. Dr. Avloni’s work has been recognized by the National Piano Guild and in 2015 she was honored to be in the Hall of Fame of the American College of Musicians.
Currently, Umida is working on an music.iLuv computer application, trying, together with eBibelot team, to combine the traditional pedagogical approach with High Tech innovations. Music.iLuv app. has been selected by US National Science Foundation for the prestigious SBIR Phase 1 Grant for the social impacting innovative product empowered by patent-pending technology in Augmented Reality, Conversational AI and pitch detection. The goal of music.iLuv application is to motivate students to study music, develop their creativity, and have fun making music.
