Dr. Irina Verweij-Novikova coordinates projects on Agro-Food Chains and Market Outlooks within Wageningen Economic Research (Part of Wageningen University and Research). She holds a PhD degree in Agricultural Economics from Wageningen University (2004) and has 14 years of experience in impact assessments of agricultural and environmental policies. She managed horticulture related projects related to knowledge dissemination and worked with private clients as well as international and Dutch donors like USAID, RVO, NUFFIC. She developed business leads in countries like Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia for companies and knowledge institutes from the Dutch Horticultural sector. She co-ordinated Tasks and Work packages in EU Framework Projects on impact assessments and agricultural modelling.
