Grace Lykins
Director, Global Public Policy
Grace is a Director, Global Public Policy at Visa Inc., based in San Francisco. In this role, she manages public policy and regulatory issues affecting Visa and the electronic payments industry globally. Her portfolio focuses on acceptance initiatives and merchant-facing policies, as well as regional policy and government relations work in Russia and CIS/SEE.
Prior to joining Visa, Grace worked in legal, compliance, and global policy roles at American Express, based in the New York headquarters. There, she focused on issues related to brand protection, money transmitter licensing, and emerging payments technologies. Grace also represented American Express on multiple industry boards to promote a safer Internet through anti-counterfeiting and child protection measures.
Grace holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology with cum laude honors from New York University. While in law school, she served as the Executive Notes and Comments Editor for the Journal of Law and Policy, which also published her law review Note. Grace is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
